Privacy policy
This page explains what information we collect when you use this website, why, and what we do with it. Updated October 2026.
Who processes your data
The data controller is Náš Bedřich s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 23177853, registered office Bělehradská 858/23, 120 00 Praha 2, entered in the Commercial Register (C 422558, Municipal Court in Prague). We run the Bedřich pub, Rumunská 47/16, Liberec. For anything concerning your data, write to ahoj@nasbedrich.cz.
What data and why
- Enquiries about events, parties or catering via the form: name or company, e-mail, and optionally phone, date, number of guests and your message. We need them to send you an offer and arrange the event. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without contact details we can't handle your enquiry.
- Newsletter: your e-mail address and the language of the website. We only send it with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your subscription starts only after you confirm it via the link in an e-mail, and you can cancel it at any time via the link in every newsletter or by writing to ahoj@nasbedrich.cz. To be able to prove your consent, we record when and through which form you gave it.
- Table bookings: online bookings run through an external booking system, which processes your data only to handle your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Visiting the website: the server automatically logs technical data (IP address, time of access, browser type). This is used only to keep the website running and secure, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who has access to your data
We do not sell your data or pass it on to anyone for advertising. Only the following processors work with it, and only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA: website hosting.
- Google Ireland Limited: storing enquiries and newsletter consent records and sending e-mail notifications (Google Workspace).
- Ecomail.cz s.r.o., Prague: sending the newsletter.
- The booking system provider: online table bookings.
Google and Cloudflare may also process data outside the EU, in particular in the USA. Such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiries are deleted no later than 24 months after they have been handled. If an enquiry leads to an order, we keep the data for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- Newsletter e-mail addresses until you unsubscribe. We keep the record of your consent for as long as you are subscribed and for 3 more years after you unsubscribe, so that we can prove it.
- Server logs only for the short time needed to keep the website secure.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to ahoj@nasbedrich.cz; we will reply within one month at the latest. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.gov.cz).
There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you. Fonts, photos and all other files are stored on our own website. The map in the contact section is loaded from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address when the map is displayed.
